Laon, France the midevil city where Chef Roux was born, raised and schooled

The original entry gate to the midevil city of Laon.  The entire city is surrounded by a wall.

There are animals all over the cathedral to honor the animals who did the labor of moving the stones up the hills in order to build the cathedral.  The gargoyles are there to protect the city.
